Northill Aims Private Wealth

Our Approach

We understand your aims. Then we build a plan around them.

Wealth planning that begins with listening, not assumptions.

Who We Serve

First-generation wealth creators entering their next chapter

The families we serve are approaching one of life’s defining transitions, when the achievement they’ve spent decades building begins to change form. They:

  • Are practical about money, and skeptical of anyone who overcomplicates it.
  • Value being known over being impressed.
  • Want their wealth to serve their family, not define it.
  • Could do this themselves – and have, for years – but know that doing it alone isn’t the same as doing it best.

If you recognize yourself here, you’re exactly who we built this firm for.

What We Do

We coordinate the whole picture, not just the portfolio.

Most families in your position have already assembled real expertise – a good CPA, a capable attorney, maybe an insurance advisor. Each one is excellent at their piece. But almost no one is responsible for connecting the pieces. That job falls to you, on top of everything else you’re managing.

That’s the job we take off your plate.

  • Investment Management

A portfolio built around what your wealth needs to accomplish for your family – not a model that fits everyone.

  • Tax Coordination

We work directly with your CPA so decisions get made with the full picture in view, before April, not during it.

  • Estate & Legacy Planning

We help you put into words what money hasn’t said yet – so your philosophy outlives you, not just your assets.

  • Family Guidance

Structured conversations that bring clarity across generations, before silence turns into assumption.

  • Life Transitions

Support through the moments that don’t come with instructions – selling a business, stepping back from a career, entering a new chapter.

  • The Aims Conversation

Every year starts the same way… we ask what matters most to you right now.

Sometimes it sounds like: “Our daughter’s thinking about selling her business – help us think it through.” “Our sons need clarity about what to expect.” “We want to give more thoughtfully to what we care about.” “I want to stop worrying and actually enjoy this.”

Whatever you tell us, that becomes the plan. We take notes. We follow through. Every conversation for the rest of the year comes back to what you said mattered.

Limited by Design

Fewer than 100 families – so that we can be fully present with each.

When a firm gets big enough, something quietly disappears: the advisor who remembers the context from three years ago without checking notes. The team that answers before you finish the question. The sense that you’re a name, not a number.

We’ve chosen to stay small enough that this never happens. That means:

  • We know your situation personally, not from a file.
  • Five substantive meetings a year, not a check-the-box annual review.
  • A team who picks up the phone, not a queue.
  • We add three or four families a year, deliberately, and never more than one at a time.

Every family we serve came to us the same way: introduced by another family we serve.

Your Team

You don’t get an advisor. You get all of us.

There’s a version of this business where you find one exceptional advisor, build a relationship over twenty years, and then one day that person retires – and everything they knew about your family retires with them. The relationship was real. It just wasn’t built to outlast the person.

We built this differently, on purpose.

Three CFP® professionals and a CFA® charterholder. Different ages, different strengths, different ways of thinking. Someone on this team will think the way you think. Someone else will think the way you don’t – which is how things stop getting missed.

That structure does three things:

  • Continuity. Your family’s history lives in the team, not in one person’s memory. What we learn about you in year one is still known in year twenty, and in the generation after that.
  • Perspective. Complex decisions get examined by people who won’t all arrive at the same answer. You hear the disagreement, not just the conclusion.
  • Availability. When you need something, someone who knows your situation is already there. Not a message taken. Not a callback scheduled.

Meet the Team

Before We Begin

We make sure we belong together – before either of us commits.

Planning Council is how we start every relationship. Not a sales pitch. A real conversation, in stages:

  • We learn what you’re actually trying to accomplish.
  • We share how we’d think about it – openly, before you’ve paid us anything.
  • Together, we decide if this is a fit.

We only run this process with one family at a time, which means our full attention is on you, not a pipeline of prospects.

If it’s a fit, you’ll know. If it’s not, we’ll tell you that too.
